IMPORTANT NOTICE
The UK Fees for Undergraduate students starting in 2021 after the announcement of the Minister of States for Universities.As it was expected the Minister of States for Universities announced that the EU Nationals will no longer
a. be granted home fees or
b. be eligible for loans for students commencing studies in 2021.Now, the universities are expected to adjust their fees and prepare for fewer students from EU countries.This expected event will make studies in the UK a great financial investment as the fees for International Students range from 17,000 pounds to 58,000(for Medicine at Cambridge).
Moreover, a student will be granted Student Visa if he has the
a. Acceptance Letter form the University and
b. a Certificate from the Bank that for at least 28 days before applying for a visa his parents or guardian have the amount to cover both his fees and living expenses(around 11,000 pounds).
The fees for international students for the year 2020 were as follows:
Imperial : Engineering 31,000 pounds , Medicine: 44,000 pounds
Cambridge 2021: Social Sciences 22,227, Mathematics 24,789, Engineering 33,825, Medicine 58,038 pounds
Durham: Average 20,000 pounds
Bath: 17,000-20,000 pounds
Southampton: 17,065-20,970 pounds
Kings : LLB 23,550, Medicine 38,850 pounds
Exeter: Finance 18,200,Engineering 22,950, Medicine 35,750 pounds
Oxford: 25,740-36,065(up to 44,935 for Medicine) pounds
Queen Mary: LLB 21,950 ,Medicine 40,650 pounds
Warwick: 20,210- 27,060 pounds
Edinburgh: Engineering 27,550, Medicine 32500- 49,900 pounds(4th year onwards)
However, as the saying goes” when one door closes another one opens” . As you understand being an International Student in the UK puts also a limit to the job opportunities and internships that a student may be offered,as international students are allowed to work only for 10 hours and for a limited time. while , the fees in the Netherlands are around 1800 euros yearly, and a student can be offered internships in all EU countries.

Also, keep in mind that the best university for every student is one in which he will excel, and receive the best GPA, which will play a decisive factor to what university he will be accepted for a Master’s.

I am today confirming the eligibility rules for EU, other EEA and Swiss nationals, and their family members, who wish to commence courses in England in the Academic Year starting in August 2021. Following our decision to leave the EU,
- EU, other EEA and Swiss nationals will no longer be eligible for home fee status,
Undergraduate, postgraduate and advanced learner will no longer be eligible for financial support from Student Finance England for courses starting in academic year 2021/22.
This change will also apply to Further Education funding for those aged 19+, and funding for apprenticeships. It will not affect students starting courses in academic year 2020/21, nor those EU, other EEA and Swiss nationals benefitting from Citizens’ Rights under the EU Withdrawal Agreement, EEA EFTA Separation Agreement or Swiss Citizens’ Rights Agreement respectively. It will also not apply to Irish nationals living in the UK and Ireland whose right to study and to access benefits and services will be preserved on a reciprocal basis for UK and Irish nationals under the Common Travel Area arrangement. EU, other EEA and Swiss students, staff and researchers make an important contribution to our universities.
I want that contribution to continue and am confident – given the world-leading quality of our higher education sector – that it will.
