At CLC Education, we don’t just teach—we bring learning where it’s needed most!
Our volunteering initiative began with a powerful vision: to support the only four school-aged children living on the remote island of Pserimos. Far from conventional educational resources, these young learners now receive consistent, high-quality support, thanks to the dedication of our own students.
It all began when Ms. Peppy read about the small school on Pserimos, which had been built thanks to donations from Greeks living abroad. Inspired by this story, Ms. Christina, head of our volunteering efforts, reached out to the island’s teacher and the parents, who responded with great enthusiasm and excitement for our initiative.
At CLC, our mission goes beyond academics. Through CLCengage, we aim to shape socially aware, compassionate individuals. By involving our students in real, meaningful outreach, we help them become active members of society—ready to give back, to lead, and to inspire. They don’t just learn from books—they learn through impact.
Last year, two outstanding CLC students led the way: Natalia Konti, who offered English lessons, and Ellie Sourli, who introduced the children to the joy of arts and crafts. With the full support of the CLC team, all necessary books and materials were sent to the island to give the children a strong foundation for learning.
This year, the torch is passed to other remarkable CLC students—Helen Psarompa, who resides permanently on the island of Kos and will travel by boat every Saturday to continue this incredible work, and Nektaria Athanasiadou, who offers online math lessons to the four young students of Pserimos Island. They bring lessons, creativity, and care to Pserimos, proving that no child is too remote to reach.
At CLC, we don’t measure impact by numbers.
We measure it by lives touched, distances crossed, and possibilities opened.
We make a difference—on one island, for four children, with limitless hope.
