Accomplishments, achieved through hard work and determination, are a true cause for celebration. We are thrilled to share the remarkable success of four exceptional students from CLC, who have been granted prestigious scholarships by the Union of Greek Shipowners. These young scholars exemplify the perfect synergy of academic prowess and real-world application, making their success a true cause for celebration.
The Union of Greek Shipowners’ grand award ceremony, hosted at the Municipal Theater of Piraeus on July 11, 2023, served as a platform to acknowledge these remarkable students. We’re delighted to announce that Christos Spentzos (LLM Business Law), Apostolos Konstanteas (MSc Financial Economics) and Maria Anastasia Garvani (LLM Law) will be setting sail for Columbia University while Ariadni Xydia (MSc Mental Health), and Apostolos Gaitanis (MFin Banking and Finance) are embarking on their educational journeys at John Hopkins University and the University of St. Gallen respectively.
These scholarships are not just about financial support; they embody the Union’s belief in their potential to shape the future. We extend our hearty congratulations to these students and commend the Union of Greek Shipowners for their dedication to nurturing the leaders and innovators of tomorrow.
The fact that these four talented individuals were chosen to benefit from this remarkable opportunity speaks volumes about their capabilities and potential to make a difference in their chosen fields. The scholarships they have received are not just monetary rewards; they signify the Union’s belief in their abilities to contribute to both society and the industry that supports it.
This celebration of achievement and support is a moment of pride for us at CLC. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to these remarkable students and express our gratitude to the Union of Greek Shipowners for their unwavering commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders and innovators. Once again, well done!
